Killer Quake. Cranmer Centre Demolition, Christchurch CBD

Cranmer Centre focus. 14.04.11. National State of Emergency. Post Feb 22, M6.3 Killer Quake, Christchurch CD had an expanding list of demolished bldgs & bldgs needing demolitions, hundreds of bldgs.

Post Feb 22 killer Quake, whenever I trekked Christchurch I saw new demolition sites & bldgs being demolished. CD used demolition excavators, diggers, cranes, front end loaders, clawed machines to rip bldgs apart. CD lackeys, NZDF soldiers, cops, kept owners & public away from bldgs being demolished behind steel mesh fence cordons. The National State of Emergency was used to prevent owners & public from stopping demolitions. For public safety of course.

14.04.11.Montreal St: Trekked from zone 4 into zone 1, snapped 2 orange diggers demolishing old, brick, Cranmer Centre ghost, damaged by the Sept 4 Darfield Quake, trashed by the Feb 22 Killer Quake. A digger produced clouds of dust, making a rubble heap. Fearing asbestos dust, brick dust, cement dust, I didn't stay long.

Why didn't demolishers wet rubble to stop dust? Never mind HAZARD to demolition operators & locals. Regarding demolition dust, I would often see demolishers' slackness for public & worker health & safety.
